Rejected petition Make Bicycle Registration Documents compulsory

Bikes are being stolen on a daily basis , children suffering violence as a result of this is absolutely sickening and can be avoided using the same system as a vehicle registration document for a motor vehicle.

The statistics for last year alone were in the 6 figure region, I myself and children were a recent victim of this crime , and working together is our only way of stopping this vile crime.
No documents, no details registered in the database, the bike will be seized and returned to its rightful owner
