Legislation required to protect football clubs and their loyal fans from unfit owners. Petition is to legislate for the introduction of a Golden Share in each professional football club, to be held by a Supporters' Trust. In the event of a change of overall ownership, the Supporters' Trust has to vote in favour of the new owner before the takeover is ratified by the FA.
