The British electorate table a vote of no confidence in our MPs and order they be suspended for disorderly conduct, for persistently & wilfully obstructing the business of the House to respect the result of the 2016 referendum to leave the EU, thereby failing to serve the British electorate.

More details

In protest against the outrageous conduct of Members of Parliament in the House of Commons, the British electorate order that all Members of Parliament be suspended for 5 days as set out in Standing Orders No. 43, 44 and 45 of the House of Commons, and while debating this petition, be required to publicly reflect on their shameful conduct, and collectively acknowledge their failure to serve the British electorate.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

Standing Orders relating to conduct of Members are adjudicated by the Speaker of the House and not by debate.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
