The majority of voters vote for the MP as a representative of a party on the basis they will uphold that party's manifesto.

If the MP no longer wishes to support their party they should stand aside for someone who will.

That way democracy is maintained. Without it democracy is destroyed.

Bracknell voted with a large majority for a conservative MP. We now have a Liberal Democrat MP.

This is not what we voted for and therefore an affront to democracy.
