Closed petition Install solar panels on all social houses by 2030

With around 4 million social homes in england these homes present a huge opportunity to assist in the fight against climate change. Whilst this would be a substantial investment it would cut fuel emissions enormously as well as cutting down on fuel poverty.

Solar panels are a clean source of power and require little maintenance. We believe many social housing residents would be happy to have these installed due to the savings available to them and to do their part to reverse climate change. Let's become pioneers in green energy and show the rest of the world we're a forward thinking nation.
