Rejected petition Make it law that when an MP changes political party, a by-election must be held.

Recently, there has been an unprecedented amount of MPs changing political party. It is of my opinion that when this happens, particularly when there is a dramatic change of political beliefs, it is undemocratic. The choice should be put back to the electorate for them to decide.

Whatever your political opinion, remain or leave, right or left, this is an issue all democrats can agree on. Let's try and restore some democracy and make current and future MPs who change party put the decision back to the people.
