Petition Make it illegal for shops to keep lights and signs on after closing time

Pollution levels are increasing and global warming is having a huge effect on our planet and this could become irreversible. By making it law for shops to turn off their lights and signs when they close each day this will help reduce levels of greenhouse gases and help reduce global warming.

Street lights will still be on during darkness so in terms of the safety aspect it should make no difference to city and town centres.
