We the undersigned desire that in decisions in which the government is forced to choose between economic quality of life factors (GDP, productivity, competitiveness, employment and so on) or damage to the environment that is difficult, expensive or impossible to reverse (climate change, loss of non-renewable resources, pollution of groundwater and air, significant loss of biodiversity) that the government opt in favour of the environment.

We accept that we would suffer as a result and believe the protection of the planet itself is worth such suffering.
