This petition was submitted during the 2017-2019 parliament
Rejected petition MPs should not use provocative, incendiary and divisive language.
The field of Critical Discourse Analysis helps us understand the affect of language on society and psychology. The current government are guilty of using vile ideology laden rhetoric which provokes anger in their followers and could potentially lead to violence and tragedy as it has in the past.
