Petition For a better society -Hate Crime -should be a Mandatory Curriculum in schools

I am a British Asian, Scotland is my home, all of my adult life I worked here, I volunteered for Oxfam, for mental health charities, and was a permanent member of church based charity SVDP. I never differentiated myself until I was subjected to hate crime.

The root cause of hate crimes is ignorance.
Children spend time in schools, schools have potential to make and shape aware citizens.
Parliament should pass the bill to make children education and awareness on such issues mandatory.
UK government should put aside funds to create and implement an effective curriculum for school children.
Ignorance should be tackled by creating and implementing effective curriculum with the help of educationists and police department. Resulting better future.
