As qualified healthcare professionals, they can offer clinical advice and over-the-counter medicines for a range of minor illnesses, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, tummy trouble and aches and pains.
Pharmacists take the strain off our GP’s by offering help and advice on healthcare issues.

Pharmacists train in medicine for a minimum of 5 years and can advise if your symptoms suggest you need to see a GP.
Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends and offer a private consultation room.
We need to keep our high street pharmacies open as they are an important part of our communities.
