This petition was submitted during the 2017–2019 Conservative government

Rejected petition Scrap the requirement for voters to present photo ID from the Queen's Speech.

It's due to be announced that photo ID will be a requirement in any upcoming elections and referenda. Given that this affects working class and minority groups the most, we feel that this is an attack on democracy and an indirect for of discrimination, as defined under the Equality Act 2010.
