Petition Adjust teachers pay so it reflects the rises in inflation since 2007.

In 2007 the highest basic wage a teacher could earn was £34281 (based on UPR 3 outside London). Since then inflation has risen by 38%, but due to long term pay freezes the teachers pay has only risen by 18.1%, meaning the standard of living of hardworking teachers has fallen dramatically.

More details

Data is easily found by checking pay scales online and using inflation calculation tools.
Percentage changes for different points on the scale may vary, but I suspect it wont be by much.
I am not asking for backdated pay so teachers receive what they should have done in back pay, just for the pay to be back on par with 2007 levels.
