Today I paid for parking using Pay By Phone - I had absolutely no choice over the provider, and yet they charged a service charge.

This happens time and time again with "service providers".

It is time these hidden charges, by parking companies, ticket booking agencies etc were forced to advertise the correct price and not charge extra for booking / service fees. We wouldn't accept these additional charges in shops, so why accept them for mobile / telephone / online purchases?
