Rejected petition Move UK time zone forward to match Central European Time

In order to keep competitive in the Economical climate we find ourselves in these days its crazy that we should loose an hours trading every day by being on a different time zone to the rest of central Europe.

Also why should we suffer so much with the shorter nights in the winter, just think how nice it would be to travel home in the light a bit more often? It always seems that the most depressing time of year is when the clocks change for winter, an extra hour of light would make such a difference, not just winter time but for the tourist season in the summer.
