Closed petition Ask the G20 to close Tax Avoidance loopholes and Tax Havens

Closed on

We request that the UK Government puts pressure on all members of the G20 to take action against artificial tax avoidance strategies used by extremely wealthy multi-national companies, and to make illegal the creation of artificial holding companies in Tax Havens, that exist purely to attempt to avoid paying legitimate corporate taxes.

Action must be taken

A) against the countries that facilitate these artificial holding companies,

B) against the companies that use them, and

C) against the people who profit from them,

whilst the ordinary tax payer has to pay to bail out the Banks and the World economy, all of which feeds the profits of some companies who appear to think that paying Corporation Tax is an optional extra.
