Rejected petition No new Royal Yacht

In a time when essentail services are being cut, causing real damage to the lives of so many ordinary citizens who have done nothing to deserve any of this, and in a time when the navy and other armed services are being cut back - including scrapping two aircraft carriers - it is unthinkable to waste any public money on a new yacht for the Royal family.
Additionally, If private donors wish to buy one, they should receive no tax relief on any contributions they make, and should not expect to be awrded honours.
