Call on the UK Parliament to frame rules that allow those with suffrage to petition to have a legislative proposal introduced into any legislature of the UK: equivalent to the provision laid down in the Treaty on Europe, Article 11 – the Citizens’ Initiative. In addition to the above we call upon the UK Parliament to frame rules that will allow citizens with suffrage to recall their legislator for bad behaviour: equivalent to the Recall and Initiative Act [Revised Statutes of British Columbia (Canada) 1996] Chapter 398.
