We the undersigned support the 350 redundant steel workers at Thamesteel in Sheerness and the campaign to "Save Our Steel". The job losses will have a devastating impact on the workers' families and the local community in Sittingbourne and Sheppey area. We call on the Government to do all it can to support workers and families affected and to review the current inadequate employment legislation governing insolvency and administration to provide better protection for workers.
