The undersigned persons hereby petition the Secretary of State for the Home Department, that certain specific provisions contained in Sections 141 to 149 of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 be repealed, because they purport to legislate retrospectively against a long-standing tradition of protest in Parliament Square, in a manner which is vindictive, perverse, and contrary to all hitherto accepted rules of law, equity and justice.
