The current cost of Insurance Motor Policies is far too high, and a large factor of this is due to too many fraudelent, exaggerated or forced Personal Injury Claims.

The problems are there are constant advertisements on TV for solictors/injury lawyers encouraging claims, details are being sold by companies like a black market, then solictors are putting fake figures into people's heads without any medical evidence of £3k+ because of their own desire to claim costs.

A 12 month soft tissue injury should not exceed £2850 as set by the Judicial Studies Board.

Stricter terms should be set for personal injury claims:

(1) Insurance companies only to pay out very low pre-medical offers in order to encourage legitimate claims

(2) Lower payouts for soft tissue injury - in order to encourage only more serious claims such as those resulting in scars/fractures/surgery or high financial loss.
