Closed Support local high streets

All over the UK local high streets and small independent retailers are fighting to survive.

In part this is due to local council's removing free car parking and harassing residents / visitors with parking enforcement wardens - people are are being driven away into the arms of out of town retail parks with free car parking.

We wish to see national and local government do more to support local high streets by either:

A) providing mandatory free car parking for community high streets or

B) approving retailer parking schemes in which free parking vouchers are available for the customers of local small businesses as an incentive to draw in custom
