Rejected petition Prison to be Punishment not Holiday?

Bring back Hard Labour for the most vicious criminals, those who destroy another human beings quality of life and end up possibly going to prison, still able to view their favourite TV shows & play on Game Consuls etc in their cells, they should not be allowed to just lay about after the horror they have caused to some unfortunate & innocence person.
Also, if some sort of industry was provided where these thugs had to do a proper days work and pay for their own upkeep whilst serving their sentences, the remainder of their salary could then be forwarded to their dependents on the outside, this' also reduceing the benefits they receive from the tax paying public.
Once and for all, prove that prison is not a joy ride' which at present it really is as we regulary see on TV and read in our daily news papers,
For Gods Sake, make prison & Its inmats pay for Its self'
The Ordinary Hard Working Honest Joe Public has enough to pay for without supporting these vicious thugs.
