Closed Reduced VAT for the Tourist Industy

Make holidays and days out cheaper in the UK.
A report by 'The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions' concluded that a reduction in UK VAT from 20% to the 5% level charged in most of Europe would significally boost the UK tourism ecomony and mean we could more compete equally with them. Overall it would create over 20,000 new jobs and deliver £1.2 billion to the economy.
We want the government to reduce VAT on visitor accommodation (hotels, campsites etc) and visitor attractions (theme parks, piers, zoos etc) to 5%.
