Rejected petition Bring down the Voting age to 16 !

We all know that past government's for years have debated the issue of allowing young adults to have their voices heard in addition increasing political participation amongst young adults, likewise allowing them to have their views considered and perhaps deciding on certain issues as the future lies in their hands. Hence, allowing them to vote in general elections not only will increase their general political knowledge, but allow them to have their voices heard , directly.
