We would like to see the Government strenthen the existing Animal Welfare Act of 2006. We want to see Animal Abuse, torture and killing carry Maximum sentences of sentences which fit the nature of the crime. Torturing or killing an animal MUST carry with it a non negotiable term of imprisonment and a mandatory order prohibiting such offenders from owning any living animal in the future.
