I think that students should be housed in purpose built blocks which would then free up actual homes for the family’s which desperately need them. Landlords in my local area of Leamington spa know they would get more money from renting each room in a shared house than renting the house out as a whole to a family. There should be a limit on how many homes can be turned into Houses of multiple occupancy.
