To allow proponents and practitioners of Bushcraft (surviving and thriving in the natural environment, and the acquisition of ancient skills and knowledge to do so) to have greater use of our national woodland resources in order to practice these skills and also to report on the sustainability and/or, mistreatment of these resources in order to protect our woodlands for future generations and enable enthusiasts to better understand and enjoy our natural heritage.
