Around 4.6 billion Euros/£3.8 billion are irregular according to a report by the European Court of Auditors. This is 25 percent of the UK contribution. It also show that irregularities have got worse since 2009 not better despite all the EUs promises. Fraud is illegal, yet the UK government throws good money after bad.
