Rejected petition It should be illegal for a polititian to lie in Parliament

It has become the norm for British Polititians, to lie rather than answer a question put to them.
I propose this matter be corrected by making the telling of known untruthes in Parliament a criminal act. Lets face it, what these people are saying, or not in some cases, makes a difference to millions of lives. We need honesty, in order to vote for who we truly believe in, not on what has been said in the lead up to an Election.
