In light of recent recommendations by experts in philosophy, conservation and animal behaviour - who state that Cetaceans such as whales and dolphins have enough self-awareness, individuality and conciousness to be considered "non-human persons" - all Cetaceans in British territorial waters should be guaranteed certain rights including but not limited to the rights to life and to freedom from captivity and servitude.
