Petition Longer sentences for convicted stalkers.

I want convicted stalkers to start getting serious sentences, they should at least, if not more, get the amount of time in prison that they have spent harassing their victim.

For too long stalkers have been given fine's instead of sentences, or a couple of months for the years of torment they have given their victim. What kind of deterrent is this to them and other like minded individuals?

The victim has to live with this for the rest of their life's and the criminal usually walks free, I want to change this.
