Closed petition HIGHER RATE OF DLA FOR ALL BLIND PEOPLE

In April 2011 the law changed enableing some blind people to be elidgible for the higher rate of DLA, but NOT ALL thus creating three groups of visually impaired people, those registered partially sighted, those registered blind & those registered blind the systym wants to discriminate against because their sight does not meet the governments visual acuity criteria which should NOT be allowed as the law was brought in to put ALL serious physical disabilities on an equal par, the visual acuity criteria section should be removed from the law as people are registered blind for a reason & discrimination is NOT acceptable & the government doesn't do this for any other disabiliies. eg single amputees don't get less benefits than double amputees they get the same.
