Petition to force ALL builders to be fully qualified BEFORE they are allowed to start building works

to STOP anyone to do ANY building work with out checks and to have to get a qualification and a PERMIT from their local authority after they have done all checks ie check to see if they have done apprenticeships and had completed a city and guilds course or NVQ & to make sure they have adequate buildings insurance & to make checks on ALL of their building work while they hold the permit & to have to renew permits every five years & if there is more than five complaints with trading standards and ANY court orders by customers the permit can be revoked .This should cut down on the cowboy builders and any DIY person thinking they can blagg their way into running their own building company .IF you had an operation you take it for granted their qualified so what difference is there when you instruct a builder you just assume they are qualified THIS IS NOT THE CASE WE HAVE TO STOP COWBOY BUILDERS MAKING HOME OWNERS IN DANGER SO PLEASE SIGN THIS AS THIS HAS TO STOP
