Closed petition Huntingtons Disease

We would like the government to take action concerning Huntingtons Disease by funding research to eventually find a cure.

Huntingtons Disease is an hereditary progressive dibilitating disease where the sufferer eventually over many years loses the ability to walk, talk, eat and to do anything for themselves. The child or children of a sufferer has a 50/50 chance of inheriting the disease.
Carers are invariably family on which this disease places a terrible burden, eventually the patient has to go into some kind of nursing care.
