Britain generously welcomes foreign nationals to visit our counrty for leisure or business puropses or to settle here to take up employment or to take refuge on the safety our society affords them.

We can, quite-rightly expect visitors to respond to such generosity by complying wiyth the social norms enshrined in our laws.

If a visitor breaks our laws sufficiently to have a custodial sentence imposed, they should be deported to serve that sentence in their home country at thh expense of that country, regardless of the inconvenience caused to the visitor or their family
