Rejected petition Provide more resources to the NHS for widespread testing for Coronavirus

I would like the government to provide resources to the NHS which enable them to test all suspected cases of coronavirus not just the more serious ones which reach hospitals. I would also like resources to be provided to test all travellers into the UK.

I believe addressing the Coronavirus outbreak will be far more effective if we have honest, open information about the extent of its transmission. We need to be able to work together as a nation to control this outbreak and safeguard our communities.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
