Rejected petition Zero wage tax for customer facing supermarket staff during COVID crisis.
A temporary zero rate of income tax and social security for non-management in-store food retail staff during COVID crisis.
More details
Lower paid workers of supermarkets are putting themselves at higher risk by stocking and serving large numbers of potentially infected customers so that we can all continue to function as a society during this emergency. They should be thanked for their dedication and the risk they are putting themselves at should be acknowledged by a tax break for the duration of the COVID emergency.
