Rejected petition Suspend income tax for NHS staff working during the COVID-19 pandemic

Many NHS staff work non clinically but have thier clinical skills avaliable to work as front line staff. However income tax means this is not worth the risk returning to work clinically during the pandemic.

Income tax should be suspended for all NHS staff AND bank staff as an incentive to break healthcare workers to the front line during this time.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
