For any child under the age of 16 leaving the United Kingdom, both parents must go to the local Police Station to fill out a separate form with the address of where the child will be staying. No child under the age of 16 should have its own passport and every child that leaves the country with only one parent, should give a written and signed document for the return of the child back to the UK.
