With speculation of people not being able to work the hours if any at all the prospect of not being able to pay their month's rent or mortgage is becoming more and more likely.

I would like you to do this because I myself have a new born baby and am having crippling anxiety and panic attacks about keeping her safe. I work in hospitality and work an average of 30-45 hours a month and this is enough to pay my rent and get by for the month, I have been told by my boss that hours are going to be cut drastically and as a result I fear I will not be able to pay my rent and me and my family will be homeless.This is an added street that given the current climate we do not need

Since this petition was started, the Government has announced a ban on evictions from social or private rented accommodation while this national emergency is taking place. It said "no renter in either social or private accommodation will be forced out of their home during this difficult time."
