Closed Sick and Disabled people shouldn't have to partake in work placement schemes

Disabled people and those with long-term illness should not be required to participate in work placement schemes in order to keep receiving any state benefits.

Work placement schemes for sick or disabled people must be entirely voluntary with absolutely no conditionality or threat of sanction.

The current system where sick and disabled people on Employment Support Allowance can be placed into unpaid work for indefinite time periods must be stopped.
