Rejected petition Make SSP and SMP enough to cover bills
At the moment statutory pay for sickness and maternity is 98 pound and 148 pound respectively. This is not enough to live on with the raising cost of living and with so many people being forced to self isolate and taking maternity early. We need to make living on these payments possible.

This self isolation will cause people to get into debt and arrears with rent. As this is an inforced isolation by the government statutory payments should be made so that people can live on
