Closed Same sex immigration visa to the US

The UK allows same sex immigration to US citizens. This petition calls on the UK to ask the US to respect UK citizens desire to be with their loved ones in the US in the same way that the UK respects US citizens. The US should be persuaded to pass the Uniting American Families Act or create a partner visa in the interim while waiting for the Defence of Marriage Act to be repealed or for the Supreme Court to rule on DOMA's constitutionality.
