Rejected petition Give extenuating circumstances to ALL students for academic year 2019/2020

I am asking Parliament to grant ALL university students across the United Kingdom extenuating circumstances for the year 2019/2020 as a result from the stress of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

We need a grade or marker rise for assignments and exams as we are unable to focus like previous years have.

We already know that mental health is a ENORMOUS issue amongst students which is a problem which increases year on year.

Students are struggling to focus on their current work more than their peers from previous years because of coronavirus and the fear that comes with it.

Lastly, some students have jobs (mostly 0 hour contracts) where their shifts are being cut and therefore are not making a steady income which also results in a strain on an individuals mental health.
