Rejected petition Suspend rents to stop evictions during Coronavirus pandemic

With the country in isolation. Jobs are being affected but we are still being charged rent that we cannot afford. We need the rent to be suspended to avoid rent payers to become evicted and therefore homeless.

We can't accept your petition because suspending payments for mortgages, rent and utility bills is a matter for individual lenders, landlords, and utility companies and not the UK Government or Parliament.
