Rejected petition Compulsory debate on successful e-petitions in the House of Commons

More details

In light of the government's decision to deny MPs the chance to debate the government's NHS reforms on the floor of the House of Commons despite an e-petition with over 160,000 signatures calling for it, we, the undersigned, petition the government to make debate of all e-petitions that successfully reach over 100,000 signatures compulsory.
The e-petition system is designed to allow the public access to politics and it is unacceptable that the government do not answer to the people when called to order, particularly over such crucial legislation as the NHS reforms.
