Rejected petition Better pay/conditions for nurses

i will keep this short and sweet, but we need better pay and conditions for our nurses who are the back bone to the nhs. With the current crisis they are saving lives and the risk of there own health.

More details

A newly qualified nurse starts on £24,907, and this is after 2 years of un-paid training sometimes 3 years. Newly qualified nurses will join at pay scale 5 and after 7 years can only earn £30,615.

A police officer starts on £25,560 rising after 7 years to £40,128. Thats £10,000 difference. I think our nurses are worth more than that and if you agree please support me.

Police earn double pay on bank hoiliday’s get paid for a dinner break and handover for the next shift, nurses do not.
