The Scottish Govt. should seriously reconsider the design of the Stonehaven Junction.
An alternative junction design has been presented to Transport Scotland, which allows the traffic to flow much smoother without any requirements for traffic lights and roundabouts and with very little disruption to Stonehaven.
It would also mean that there would be no requirement to dismantle the existing A90 bridge that runs over the B979 causing many months of disruption to traffic on the A90 during the construction of the junction for the fastlink.
