Small businesses are struggling to grow as the cost of recruiting and paying their first employee is prohibitive.

There is a Regional Employers NIC's holiday scheme available to some new businesses in certain regions, however this is not available across the board.

We would like to see an across the board exemption from Employers NIC's of £5,000 for all new businesses on recruiting their first employee.
